FAG spindle bearings
FAG spindle bearings are single row angular contact ball bearings made up of solid inner ring, outer ring, ball and cage assembly with solid window cage. They are not removable. These FAG bearings can be open or sealed.
FAG spindle bearings have limited tolerances, are P4S class, and are particularly suitable for bearing arrangements requiring very high steering accuracy and speed capability, especially for bearing arrangements for the central shaft of machine tools.FAG standard spindle bearings B70, B719 and B72 series use steel ball as rolling body, for example :FAG B71911-E-2RSD-T-P4S-UL
FAG drill and milling machine spindle -FAG bearing selection, the radial and axial forces are borne separately. The centripetal bearings are double row cylindrical roller bearings with one FAG NN3024ASK.M.SP at the working end and one FAG NN3020 ASK.M.SP at the other end.Guide spindle with FAG 234424-M-SP axial direction. The bearing has a certain preload, so there is no need to adjust. The processing of seat hole is simplified, because the nominal outer diameter of centripetal bearing and thrust bearing is the same. The outer diameter tolerance of the thrust angular contact ball bearing shall enable it to be fitted loosely in the seat.
FAG bearing selection for FAG CNC lathe spindle:
The main requirements for the bearing configuration are excellent speed applicability, stiffness and accurate guidance to the working spindle. The main shaft bearing group FAG B7017C.T.P4S.DTL is arranged in series at the work end.The main shaft bearing group FAG B71917C.T.P4S.DTL with series configuration at the drive end.
The bearing USES light preload (UL) and has improved accuracy (P4S).This configuration has no floating bearings and is a rigid positioning bearing system. The two sets of bearings together form an o-shaped configuration.
